As GLIDEUP Human Resources Consultancy Services Trade Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), we pay utmost attention to the security of your personal data. With this awareness, as the Company, we attach great importance to the processing, preservation, and legal transfer of all kinds of personal data belonging to all persons associated with the Company, including those who benefit from our products and services, in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as "KVKK" or "Law"). With full awareness of this responsibility, in our capacity as Data Controller, we process your personal data within the framework of our commercial relations or within our business relationship with you, in accordance with the law and the rule of honesty, within the framework of the purpose that requires them to be processed, and limited and measured in connection with this purpose, by preserving the accuracy and most up-to-date version of the personal data as you have notified or been notified to us, within the conditions and limits stipulated by the law.  

1. Collection, Processing and Processing Purposes of Personal Data

Your personal data may vary depending on the service, product, or commercial activity provided by our Company; it can be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through automatic or non-automatic methods when you visit our Company or our website, on social media platforms, during your participation in our events, in all our activities, and similar means.  

As a Company, we collect your personal data for the employment intermediary service provided by our company to fulfill our legal obligations, by sending an e-mail containing your personal data, contacting us by telephone, filling out the contact form on the website, or contacting us through social media platforms.

In addition, we may also receive information from social media platforms that are open to third-party access or from different third parties who can provide references about you. This information can also be collected by the Company and/or real or legal persons processing data on behalf of the Company, through the website, various contracts, e-mail, forms, surveys, invitations, mobile applications, and similar tools, verbally, in writing, or electronically.

The personal data we collect from candidates can be used to evaluate suitable candidates within the scope of our employment intermediary services offered as a company, and if it is compatible with the demands from our customers, we can share it with our customers with the explicit consent of the candidates, helping our customers to make decisions in the process of employing the candidates.

Your personal data can be processed by being created and updated as long as you benefit from our Company's products and services.

Your collected personal data;

  • To carry out our human resources service and employment intermediary service activities,

  • To make the necessary evaluations for the employment intermediary service offered by our Company,

  • To provide consultancy services for the research and/or evaluation of suitable candidates for certain high-level positions within institutions or group companies,

  • To conduct talent research and market research studies to enable our customers to better understand the candidate pool for certain sectors and/or areas of expertise,

  • To fulfill the obligations to store information and documents arising from legal legislation,

  • In recruitment and human resources processes,

  • In processes related to business relations, technical processes,

  • In the continuation of our Company's commercial activities,

  • Managing candidate selection and placement, recruitment processes,

  • Conducting candidates' application processes,

  • To find jobs for candidates and to match employer customer advertisements by using the shared personal data in order to reach the right candidate for our employer customers,

  • Planning human resources processes,

  • Conducting communication activities,

  • For the purpose of creating employment and supporting the recruitment process,

  • To share the candidates' resumes, including special categories of personal data collected with the explicit consent of the candidate, in line with the candidates' sharing preferences, with domestic and/or foreign-based employers in order to fulfill our activity,

  • To examine candidates and determine the new candidate to be employed,

  • To fulfill our company's legal and commercial obligations arising from the contract, establish rights, protect rights, commercial and legal evaluation processes, legal and commercial risk analyzes, and conduct financial affairs within the framework of contracts made with third real or legal persons who are in a business relationship with our company or activities carried out together,

will be processed within the legal reasons of "a) It is expressly stipulated in the laws, c) It is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract", "ç) It is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation, e) It is mandatory to process data for the establishment, use or protection of a right, f) It is mandatory to process data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject." specified in Article 5 (2) of the KVKK.  

Your special categories of personal data that you provide in your resume will be processed with your explicit consent within the legal reason of "it is forbidden to process special categories of personal data without the explicit consent of the data subject" specified in Article 6 (2) of the KVKK for the purposes specified in this article.

2. Processed Personal Data Categories

Identity, contact, professional experience, visual and auditory records, education, work experience, military status information, travel restriction information, hobby information, reference information, target salary information, and special categories of personal data collected with the explicit consent of the candidate (information about membership in associations, foundations, unions, political parties, information about your religious or philosophical views, information about your ethnic origin and race or information that may create an opinion on this, information about your health status and/or disability status) will be processed within the scope of the stated purposes and legal reasons in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant legislation.

3. To Whom and For What Purpose Processed Personal Data Can Be Transferred

Your personal data will be transferred without seeking the explicit consent of the data subject in accordance with Article 8 (2) (a) of the KVKK for the purposes specified below:  

  • It will be shared with domestic and/or companies located abroad with the condition of obtaining explicit consent, in order to carry out the human resources and employment intermediary service activities provided, to offer potential job opportunities to candidates, to carry out the employment processes of candidates and to forward them to potential employers.

  • It may be shared with contracted financial consultancy firms, notaries, enforcement offices and/or courts, if necessary, in order to carry out financial and/or accounting affairs within the scope of the collection of fees for products and services.  

  • It may be shared with the relevant public institutions and organizations, if necessary or upon request, in order to fulfill legal obligations in accordance with the relevant legislation.  

  • It may be shared with our lawyers as necessary within the framework of the obligation of confidentiality in order to follow legal processes.

  • Your processed personal data may be transferred to our customers, suppliers, authorized public institutions or organizations, domestic or foreign-based employers with whom we have contracted and provide services due to our company's activities, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, with the explicit consent of the candidate, in order to provide appropriate service to our customers or to evaluate candidates in suitable positions if requested, limited to the purposes of our company's activities, within the scope of the above-mentioned purposes.

  • According to the candidate's sharing option, real persons and/or legal persons to whom the resume is transferred can record the transferred resume in their own data recording systems. The obligation to provide disclosure for this transaction is the responsibility of the real and/or legal person institutions/organizations performing the transaction.

  • Transfer abroad; your personal data may be transferred to a data center within or outside Europe in order to manage your information and offer you potential job opportunities, carry out employment processes and forward your profile to companies, with your "explicit consent" in order to carry out candidate employment processes.

4. Data Processing Period and Retention Period

Your personal data will be processed by complying with the data processing and statute of limitations periods in all relevant laws and other legal legislation to which our Company is subject, limited to the purposes specified in this Disclosure Text. If changes are made to the data processing periods in the laws, the new periods determined will be taken as basis.  

Your personal data is processed for the period required to fulfill the purposes explained in this Disclosure Text as a requirement of the principle of limitation with the purpose and in any case, in accordance with the practices of company practices and commercial life, and is deleted, destroyed or anonymized after the expiry of the periods. The procedures and principles regarding this are specified in our Storage and Destruction policy.

5. Rights of the Personal Data Subject Listed in Article 11 of the KVK Law

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company with the methods regulated below in this Disclosure Text, our Company will finalize the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is foreseen by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee in the tariff determined by our Company will be charged.  

Data subjects whose personal data are processed have the following rights:

a- To learn whether personal data is processed

b- To request information if personal data has been processed,
c- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
d- To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
e- To request the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request that the transaction made within this scope be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data are transferred,
f- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring its processing disappear, despite being processed in accordance with the provisions of the KVK Law and other relevant laws, and to request that the transaction made within this scope be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data are transferred,
g- To object to the result in case a result arises against the person himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
h- To demand the compensation of the damage in case of damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.  

In accordance with the 1st paragraph of Article 13 of the KVK Law, you can submit your request regarding the use of your rights mentioned above to our Company in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Your application must be submitted to our Company in writing in accordance with the KVK Law.  

Exercising the Rights of the Data Subject

Data subjects whose personal data are processed can submit their requests regarding their rights specified in the disclosure text to GLIDEUP Human Resources Consultancy Services Trade Limited Company free of charge by filling out and signing the Application Form with information and documents that will identify their identity and with the methods specified below or other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.  

The data subject;

  • By filling out the personal data application and response form located at www.glideup.com.tr or by preparing a petition in due form and submitting a copy of it in person or in writing via registered mail with return receipt to the address or by applying in person,

  • By filling out the personal data application and response form located at www.glideup.com.tr and sending the securely electronically signed form to the registered e-mail address of the address after signing it with the "secure electronic signature" within the scope of the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070, by using a secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the e-mail address previously notified by the data subject and registered in the system, or by applying through a software or application developed for the purpose of application, he can apply to the data controller.

In order for the application mentioned above to be accepted as a valid application, in accordance with the Communiqué on Application Procedures to the Data Controller, the application must include the following information of the data subject;  

a- Name, surname and signature if the application is in writing, b- T.C. identity number for citizens of the Republic of Turkey, nationality, passport number or identity number if any for foreigners, c- Notification-based residence or workplace address, d- E-mail address, telephone and fax number, if any, for notification, e- Subject of the request.  

Otherwise, the application will not be considered a valid application. In applications made without filling out the application form, the matters listed here must be submitted to GLIDEUP Human Resources Consultancy Services Trade Limited Company completely. In order for third parties to make an application request on behalf of the data subjects whose personal data are processed, there must be a special power of attorney issued by a notary public on behalf of the person who will make the application.
